Runx3基因甲基化与胃癌发生和转移的关系

x3基因表达缺失主要是由于Runx3基因启动子甲基化所造成。本研究在正常粘膜组织中未发现有Runx3基因启动子的甲基化,而在胃癌组织中有53.75%检测到甲基化存在,这与文献报道相似[11]。因此Runx3基因启动子区域的高甲基化(CpG岛甲基化)可能是导致基因转录失活及其表达下调的主要原因。Runx3基因启动子区域高甲基化导致其在胃癌组织中表达明显下调且与胃癌发生、发展密切相关。因此,利用药物对Runx3基因进行去甲基化处理的进一步研究必将对胃癌的临床诊断和治疗带来新的启示。
