胸椎骨折伴胸骨骨折9 例分析 |

一旦发生胸椎骨折伴胸骨骨折，即此环中前环和后
环均断裂，则可视为不稳定胸椎骨折，需手术治疗。由于胸廓环的存在，胸椎的稳定性大约为胸腰段的2～3倍，从稳定性的意义上讲，胸廓实际上已经成为胸椎的组成部分之一，其对胸椎稳定性的增强作用在胸椎后伸时最为明显，前屈及侧屈时次之。但是目前尚无生物力学数据证明肋骨和胸骨在维持脊柱稳定性中的确切作用，有待于进一步研究。
